However, due to liabilities that put us at risk when overstepping boundaries with parents, we must offer an alternative for our youth to have access to these support resources.
Requiring those under the age of 18 to submit a waiver with parent or guardian consent would exclude a large number of them as many are not yet "out" to their families. So, in an effort to be as inclusive as possible, we have come up with another solution to ensure that as many of our gender diverse youth as possible have a chance to have their questions answered.
If you are under the age of 18 and need guidance, please use the form below to tell us a little about your particular situation as well as what question(s) you need answered. We will take these questions and present them to a panel of experienced and qualified community members who will answer them in a Zoom video format that can be viewed on our YouTube channel (coming very soon).
Please note that all fields in this form are required so that we can provide you with the best support possible. If you do not have access to a safe email address, then use a username and social platform as your email so we can reach out to you, if needed (i.e., "firstname.lastname@example.org" or "email@example.com").
Your information is 100% safe, secure, and confidential.
TRANSETCETERA IS NOW "THE CARLISLE INITIATIVE!"
1. We are currently in the process of rebranding our organization's web site and socials. In the interim, you may still see references to TransEtcetera, including email addresses and other contact options until the rebranding is complete.
2. The Carlisle Initiative is moving away from the widely-known LGBTQIA+ acronym in favor of the shorter and more inclusive GSE acronym, which stands for Gender & Sexually Expansive. Now, when you see this in our spaces, you will know what it means.
